Lessons at Ro-No Ranch

RO-NO offers lessons for beginners through advanced riders for children and adults alike. We teach English, Western, and gaited lessons. We also train clients who own their own horses and wish to compete in shows. Our clients participate in Paso shows, dressage shows, Extreme Cowboy Races, mounted shooting practices/competitions, hunter and equitation classes, Western classes, hunter paces, and Fun days.

At RO-NO Ranch, we offer private and semi-private lessons with the emphasis on using positive thinking and imaginative/creative teaching methods. We also offer horse care lessons for first time horse owners and for kids.

CHA Certified Instructors

RO-NO Ranch now has CHA Certified Instructors. The purpose of the CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) is to promote excellence in safety and education for the benefit of the entire horse industry. This is accomplished by certifying instructors, accrediting equine facilities, producing educational conferences and publishing educational resources such as horsemanship manuals, DVDs, safety video shorts, webinars, a monthly radio show, weekly blog, posters and much more.  You can find out more at www.cha-ahse.org. .

Lessons for all skill levels

At RO-NO Ranch, we offer private and semi-private lessons with the emphasis on using positive thinking and imaginative/creative teaching methods. We also offer horse care lessons for first time horse owners and for kids.

Lessons for Kids

It’s important to have the right horses for children and beginners to learn on and we have steady, experienced mounts available. Some horses are available for lease also.

Experience counts

Both Nola Haupert-Keill and Julie Druga Lamberton have many years of experience and training. Nola specializes in teaching gaited, driving, and mounted shooting lessons and is a gaited horse clinician. Julie offers dressage-based lessons for all disciplines (including jumping and Western) and breeds.
